Display Settings for Viewing Our Site
For optimal viewing of the new
Duplex web site, your display settings should be set to at least 800 by
600 pixels. In most cases adjustments are not necessary, however if
you are experiencing problems please follow the instructions below.
Windows ‘95
Double-click the 'Display' icon and change the desktop area on the
'Settings' tabbed page.
- Click the 'Start' button to display
the 'Start' menu.
- Select 'Settings' and select 'Control
Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
- Double-click 'Display'. (The 'Display
Properties' dialog box appears.)
- Change the amount of desktop area
displayed:
a) Click the 'Settings' tab.
b) Move the slider in the 'Desktop area' section to the right or the
left until it reads 800 by 600 pixels. (An example of the desktop size
appears in the sample monitor.)
c) Click 'Apply'.
d) Click 'OK' when the 'Display Properties' prompt appears for the new
desktop settings to take effect.
Windows ’98
Right-click the Windows 98 desktop and select 'Properties'. Click the
'Settings' tab and move the slider in the 'Screen area' group to display
the desired resolution (800 by 600 pixels). Click 'OK' and click 'OK'
again. Click 'Yes' to keep the new setting.
- Right-click the Windows 98 desktop and
select 'Properties'. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
- Click the 'Settings' tab.
- In the 'Screen area' group, move the
slider to display until it reads 800 by 600 pixels.
NOTE: The available options depend upon the monitor type, but the
following resolutions are generally available: '640 x 480 pixels',
'800 x 600 pixels', and '1024 x 768 pixels'.
- Click 'OK' and click 'OK' again.
- Do one of the following:
a) To keep the newly selected setting, click 'Yes'.
b) To keep the old setting, click 'No'.
Macintosh
- Select Help*? from the desktop
toolbar.
- Scroll down to video and monitor.
- Select how do I magnify the screen
image?
- Follow the Mac’s Instructions.
